IHNJFSC ANNOUNCES SKATERS’ ASSISTANCE SCHOLARSHIPS

The Board of Directors of the Ice House of New Jersey Figure Skating Club announced the award of scholarships for qualifying skaters for the 2016-2017 season. “The mission of our Club is to support the art and sport of figure skating.” said Maria Morin, Board President. “Ours is an all volunteer board and we rely on the volunteer service of our membership to host events such as the annual Basic Skills and Moran Memorial Championships competitions as well as testing and recital events. This past year we provided support to skaters going to Eastern Sectionals and Nationals, as well as our annual awards.” The IHNJFSC Board distributed $10,300 for the season. The Skaters’ Assistance Awards will be presented during the Moran Memorial Championships.
